Our high-efficiency, high-brightness (HB) LED drivers are manufactured in a high voltage BCDMOS on SOI process. The wide input operating voltage range enables these devices to be used in a broad range of HB LED applications.

CPC9909 enables operation from 8VDC to 550VDC. The device features pulse frequency modulation (PFM) with a constant peak-current control scheme. This regulation scheme is inherently stable, allowing the driver to be operated above 50% duty cycle without open loop instability or sub-harmonic oscillations.

MXHV9910 operates from 8VDC to 450VDC. The device features a fixed-frequency, peak-current control method, which provides an ideal solution for driving multiple LEDs in series and in parallel.

With both devices LED dimming can be implemented by applying a small DC voltage to the LD pin, or by applying a low frequency PWM signal to the PWMD pin.

Features & Benefits:

  • High AC mains input voltage range
  • Supports linear and PWM brightness control
  • Enables >90% power conversion efficiency.
