These Pxxx0ME 5kA SIDACtor® Series components are designed to protect equipment located in high exposure environments from severe overvoltage transients.

Setup in a robust TO-218 package, these Pxxx0ME 5kA SIDACtor components are ideal for use in data interface and AC power line for CATV amplifiers, Telecom Base Station equipment and Cell Towers.

  • Fails to short circuit mode when it is surged beyond its ratings

  • 5000A 8/20 μs surge rating
  • 2nd level interconnect is Pb-free per IPC/JEDEC J-STD-609A
  • RoHS compliant, leadfree and halogen-free
  • Low Leakage device nA when connected to Varistor in series, extend lifetime of total system 
  • Semiconductor Technology, fast response nS comparing to Varistor and GDT
  • Highly recommend in AC-DC application in series with Varistor to increase system reliability and lifetime by low leakage and Low clamping
